Graphic Design Intern

The primary focus of this role is to develop digital assets that can be used for corporate branding and marketing. We look to you to bring your creative ideas and energy to bring new, professional, hip, cool and progressive design concepts to our website, social media content, presentations, newsletters, email campaigns, case studies, infographics, videos, brochures, etc. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative graphic design intern with a passion for learning by doing, and excited about contributing to a business that is set on helping people in need to gain access to life-enhancing and life-saving treatments.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

Because this is an Internship, we expect that while you will bring some level of knowledge in marketing, moreover you will have an opportunity to learn, grow, apply your knowledge while acquiring real-world experience:

 

  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Figma, Sketch, or other tools of your preference
  • Typography and layout skills
  • Motion graphics and video editing
  • Detail oriented including proofreading skills and excellent organization skills
  • Basic to Intermediate Knowledge of social media / digital marketing
  • Fundamental knowledge of web design and management
  • Ability to work remotely. The presence of the corresponding infrastructure is mandatory.
  • Fundamental Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint

Qualifications & Other Skills

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Design
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work demonstrating excellent layout, typography, desktop and/or mobile experience, and visual design work
  • Previous experience branding or marketing is a plus
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostic and health science-related industries not required, but a plus
  • Self-starter, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and a creative mind
  • Spanish (oral & written) a plus

 

Job Location: Virtual / Remote

Time Required: Part-time with flexibility (10-20 hours / week)
